An Artic Challenge for LeasePlan Ladies
LeasePlan UK, a branch of one of the world’s leading vehicle leasing companies, realised a vision in promoting gender diversity in the workplace by sending 15 of its female employees to Baffin Island on an Arctic challenge to trek from one side of the island to the other. No mean feat that has thwarted many similar attempts by numerous other male dominated expeditions. Raises the attitude of if I, or they, can do that then I can do practically anything!
Website Features
The Artic Challenge website was built to allow the participants to blog their progress through their training and the expedition itself. These blog posts are sortable in a variety of ways giving rise to different sections making up the articles within; individual blog posts, all blog posts, participant biogs and an expedition diary. The ability to include images and video as required was also important as was an image gallery.
