“More cheese Gromit!?” Charles Martell & Son, makers of Stinking Bishop, as featured in one of the Aardman Animations duo’s films, as well as numerous other cheeses, and more recently a range of pear and apple based spirits wanted a website to promote their products, sound provenance and artisanal production ethos to both direct sales and the wholesale market.

The site presents extensive information about the farm as well as the products it produces. As the cheese products are only available from retailers. rather than direct, these are excluded from the on-line shop. However the full range of spirits is available to buy on-line by adding items to the shopping cart, the transaction is concluded via PayPal.

A recent addition is the facility to accept promotional codes which adjust the custom shopping cart values in accordance with a varying range of discounts and incentives.

Additionally the site features a rotating home page banner image, where suitable linked to relevant pages within the site, a finder to locate retailers on entry of a post code as well as a media library with downloadable images and press releases.

Red Fox New Media also carries out product photography for the website. The client also uses these images in press releases, to support suppliers and for other promotional purposes.
